ARE YOU THE SABOTEUR?
Are you your worst enemy? Are you too hard on yourself? Are you being unrealistic?
While it is often the case that we do not do enough to promote and build our home based internet marketing businesses, it is also conversely true that we might be doing quite a bit, but not assessing our activity in a realistic fashion.
If your 90-Day Plan is in place and you are performing according to plan, you might be the saboteur!
SIX CHECKPOINTS
Here are 6 checkpoints we can use to assess our home based internet marketing business-building activities.
- MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS – Be realistic in your expectations. You must allow some degree of time after you have set a marketing plan in motion, to see what will or will not be produced from your efforts. Do and assess, incrementally; this is what a 90-Day Plan is all about.
- CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESSES – See the small successes, they build to a crecendo! Are you doing the things that ought to be done by you on a daily basis? Content creation, blog, video, etcetera? Yes? Good, settle down and be confident. No? Get to work.
- YOU ARE THE WORST CRITIC – So, you think your production is not ‘just right’, or ‘not good enough’? Don’t you realize that the lack of perfection, is what is ‘attractive’ because other folks see themselves, in you, they can relate to you, imperfect, human, you. Let go of this tendency to be overly critical of self.
- YOU ARE THE OVER-ANALYZER – Too much time spent in analyzing and studying means too little time spent in production and doing. ‘Do the Do’. At some point, you must drop the analyzing and just do the thing. “Learn a little, DO A LOT.” Sometimes, ‘ignorance on fire’ is a good thing.
- LOOKING FOR THE EASY BUTTON – There ain’t no easy button. Setting up and establishing a home-based, online presence focused on ‘internet marketing’ is a process. It will take time and effort.
- SELF-DOUBT – Doubt has no place here. Leave it at the curb. Put your attention on “Doing It Until”. Have a little faith, a little trust, in what we teach. If you’ll do the work, and take the steps, you will come out on the other side with what you set out to achieve. Great results!
CLEAN & GREEN
We’ve gone through the reality check. We’ve determined that you are doing what you should be doing. Good for you.
Be confident. Be patient. Know that you are ‘in process’. If you’ve done the work, or you are doing the work, there is no need to worry, or be fearful.
Yes, it’s clean and green from here! You’re on your way!
